How Does Technology Affect Creativity

Technology is the collection of techniques, skills, methods and processes used in the production of goods or service or in the accomplishment of objectives. There are many types of technology such as machine that we use in industry, mobile phone, washer machine and etc. As the developing era, people nowadays frequently depend on these technologies as they want to make their work easier or they want to complete their work soon and perfect. The funniest thing is there are some people might think technology is used to show their richness towards others as they are following the passage of time. As we can see there are thousands of computers, laptops and tablet are created to complete our project or assignment. Nowadays, people can do art on their tablet because there are many applications that we can use to draw. For example, after we draw some pictures, we have to colour it, so we will use many types of colours. People in old day, they were using different colour by mixing two or three different colour to make a new colour such as yellow plus blue, we will get green colour. It is really interesting and so creative. However, when we look to people who do art, they can simply select what type of colour that they want. To make a tone colour, it is too hard because we have to choose right colour to make the picture looks alive. From the application that we have now, we can make beautiful tones of colours in our drawing but there is no creativity expressed in the drawing. As we can see many students love to surf internet to find answers to complete their homework because in internet, many fantastic facts had been provided. Moreover, some students love to done their homework well, easily and fast. For example, if their teachers want them to write an essay, they will make a research on the internet and if they found the answer, they will copy the answer easily. Nowadays, copying is easier than thinking. Humans need to think to solve problem. If you could not find the answer, you should open book, read and write your answer. However, we need computer too to make a slide for our presentation so, we can present our work well or maybe we can send our work to teacher through e-mail. We can save some papers. In conclusion, technology gives us both advantage and disadvantage. It is depend on how we use it in our daily life. Before we do something, we need to think the effect we will get if we use the technology wrongly. The era is developing so, humans should be developing
