Passing the dirty door, she heard moaning and pounding again. Then she heard the door, on the third door break open. Looking up, she swung around and pointed her rifle and got ready to shot anything that was following her. The moans approached, vibrating throughout the staircase. Reaching into one of pockets she pulled out a flash light with her free hand, and on turning it on. She pointed upward and saw something that caused her face to go white, it was a herd of zombies. Moaning looking around, with their plain white eyes.
Sensing Rachel, the zombies looked down and moaned louder. Seeing blood, and guts hanging off of the first few. Discussed she pressed the trigger and seeing their heads evaporate in a bloody cloud. Not wanting to continue the fighting, Rachel turned around and started to take two steps at a time, by the time she reached the bottom step, she heard the zombies started to fall down the steps. The first few zombies started to get up, moaning as they looked directly at her, seeing their lips starting to peel, she noticed that they had the look of a sick smile. Reaching out to for her, Rachel tried to get out of the way only to be grabbed by someone else’s hands, and dragged out from the door.
Terrified she started to scream “No, No, let go of me, you sick fucks!”
As soon as the door was close she turned around and saw Kat standing next to her. Feeling relieved she let out a loud sigh. Smiling she said “Thank you Kat.” Reaching out to give her a hug.
Backing away Kat replied, “thank me later, we need to get out of here. We have two Apache attack choppers on the way.”
Looking at the look on Kat’s face, told her all she needed to know. Both women turned and ran for the only door they knew about. Behind them they heard the door, starting to give way. Rachel, was cursing herself out, they should have barricaded the door before they
