The load you are carrying is tremendous. I’m sure other people told you that there was nothing else you could do. Nor, was there something you failed to do that would have changed any of the outcomes. I want you to know that it would have been the same no matter what you did or didn’t do. “Wait a minute,” interjected a concerned Allister who was in over his head. “Your soldier’s the ones that died. Did they love and trust you?”

“Tank, I wonder, would they agree with you? Somehow, I don’t think so. You indicated that you did your best. God doesn’t expect any more from us than that.”
“Then why, after I prayed and confessed it as a sin do I still suffer from the nightmares?”
He waited patiently through Allister’s long pause. When he did reply, his answer was of little comfort.
