We’ll be back soon okay?” Cable said. “If you need the gun, it’s under the blanket.” I nodded. He climbed up the ladder that led to the deck. I walked to the blanket and lifted it up. A flare gun was resting under the blanket. “Well hopefully I won’t need it!” I shouted to Cable. Cable chuckled. “I hope not.” Cable zipped up his bag and threw it onto his shoulder. I lifted the blanket up and set the gun inside gently. I sighed. I dropped the blanket on top of the gun. I climbed up the ladder onto the deck. Cable and Ivan were inflating the blow up boat. They were going to row to shore and get fruit food for the ride out. “Okay, I think that we’re done.” Ivan said. Cable pushed four fingers onto the boat. He nodded. “Alright. I fell asleep on the deck. Wait, shouldn’t they be back right now? “Hello?” I shouted, no reply. I ran to the sole of the boat. “Ivan?” I said. “Ca-,” The boat started tipping and rocking violently. There wasn’t even a storm coming and the waves weren’t violent at all. I grabbed on to the rail and held on while the boat was almost flipping on it’s side. The movement stopped. My heart was beating a thousand miles an hour, what was happening? Is there something under the boat? Something erupted from the water on the other side of the boat. I spun around and gasped. The world slowed down. The ocean sounded like a seashell. Then it went fast. My heart went fast. My breath went fast. The shark was gone. The waves were fast. The world sped back to normal. I looked around. My entire body felt like it was losing energy. My knees felt weak. It was like all the adrenaline flew out of my body. I couldn’t move. What do I do? I was all alone in the middle of the ocean. What happened to Ivan and Cable? Were they dead? My heart sunk to my feet. It occurred to me that I was probably going to die. I felt the boat start shaking. I felt a burst of MOVE IT coming from my legs. I ran to the top of the boat and unlatched the door. I got inside the engine control room. There was a chair and 4 buttons. There were two green buttons, one yellow button and one red button. There was a steering wheel and a lever. I sat in the chair and looked at the buttons. The first green button was labeled, “motor”. The second green button was labeled, “gas”. Under those buttons, were the yellow and red buttons. The yellow button was labeled, “signal”, and the red button was labeled “EMERGENCY” in big bold labels. The lever was to measure the speed of the

Book 9.5- The Psithyrismos Falaina’s Attack “We were still escaping from the wrath of our discouraged adversary, the Cyclops, and our ship drifted on the sea after being showered by a massive amount of boulders. Our ship tumbled and turned in the massive waves that slapped us, and bits of the sides of the ship chipped off from the powerful strength of the water. I know that this storm was a message to us from the gods as a punishment for what I had done to the Cyclops.…
