Creative Writing: The Trek Journey

Well, during the Trek trip, Sarah was talking about how she's going to be in Europe next July and she wanted to visit people. Helena chipped in and said she should visit her town in Sweden. I honestly don't feel anything but platonic friendship towards her, but thinking back to the Trek trip, I just don't know if the same can be said of her towards me. I get the feeling that she just naturally wants to be friends with everyone, but I don't want to go to these places with her if it would make you feel uneasy, and I would completely understand if it did. The one thing that I really didn't want to do was to make assurances to her without telling you first. It would seem like I'm scheming and deliberately withholding things from you, which is the last thing I'd want to do. I also know that we'll hopefully have our own travel plans for next summer and I don't want to make promises that I can't

A series of small waves pressed the sail boat against the alge dock as his cold and cracked hands desperately yanked on the rope in an effort to raise the sails. I just wanted to touch base with you about Abbie coming to visit this summer. An opportunity just came up for us to get a free ticket (we just paid the taxes) for Abbie with the mileage points that a friend gave us, but we had to act on the spot the airlines said or we would lose the opportunity. So, we got her ticket to come on July 2 and going back on August 27 (she said that she wanted to stay for a few months.
