Creative Writing: The Protest

The Protest Adrian was your stereotypical high school student, he was a star football player, he had great grades, everything about him was typical. Except for his family. His family had been messed up for the last four years. Things have gotten better but never back to normal. Four years ago, Adrian's brother Max was walking home from his football practice, this was a normal afternoon for him but everything was about to change. As he passed by the neighboring houses a man down the street yelled at him,

Adrian wanted to help him but he couldn’t and this was one of the most hurtful things for him because he couldn't have helped his brother but he could help this kid, this kid could be saved but not by Adrian. No one stood up for him. When Adrian went home that night he just layed in his bed and stared at the ceiling contemplating how he should of done something. It hurt him more than anything. The next day at school Adrian kept his head low as if he had done something wrong, because he had. There was no denying he did something horrible and he had to hold that within himself. The rest of the day was miserable for him, he could not stop thinking about what he didn’t do. Right when school was about to end Adrian passed the kid in the
