The car’s engine had diminished from a loud roar to a quit purr. Dembe had packed an esky full of sandwiches and with this, drew in the unwanted company of leopards. The leopards were bemused by, what was, a loud jeep. The leopards climbed all over the jeep: into the open trunk, sniffing the hot tires and scratching the car’s glossy surface with their sharp claws. Dembe didn’t think he had so many sandwiches to spare he opened the window and through half the container out for leopards. “Why Dad? Why would you throw away perfectly scrumptious sandwiches?” asked Caden “Why? I hear you ask. It is our nice to share my son and we mustn’t share just with our own kind by with others too.
