A cold shrug brushed off of a wandering teen, who tried to find his way through a perilous and gloomy night. His eyes glanced toward his brother, shivering and sniffling from the cold, and his speckled companion ahead off him, scouting through the tree line with his tail above his head. "When are we going to get home? " The perilous Forrest stretched on for miles, and for a moment they both stood clueless. His brother, adamant to not get caught late grabbed his hand and began hiking up towards a slanted hill, leaves loudly crushing as he walked. When they reached the top of the hill a sound ran to their ear drums, blasting a pitched screech like a cannonball flying through the air. Their dog, quickly ran away, leaving them dumbstruck and struggling to recover from the noise. "What was that?" They both looked toward every which way for a possible culprit, yet couldn't find anything around them. For a moment, they relaxed, but as they looked for their dogs leash, they faltered. They began a search for their dog before heading home, and blistered through the cold for what felt like hours. "Are we going to find him?" "I don't
