The Murder in Hosier Lane The cool wind blows through the abandoned alley ways of Melbourne. 3 am, March the 5th and not a soul could be heard. The dark lanes were accompanied by dull, flickering street lights making for a sinister atmosphere. Not a car nor a person in sight. Then a loud, gut wrenching scream broke all silence. This was followed by the sound of echoing footsteps fleeing the scene of Hosier Lane. Moments later the sounds of screeching sirens filled up the dark atmosphere. * * * 3:24 am, Lewis was awoken from his deep slumber by the sound of his deafening phone. No caller ID.
“Hello,” Lewis mumbles as he only just managed to find his phone in time.
“Lewis, it’s Frank, I need your help. There's been a vicious murder,” Frank

As they walk through the narrow alley way covered in graffiti, Lewis cant help himself but admire the display of art. Lewis and Frank reach the body of a young woman, aged around 26. Her thick, beautiful blonde hair is saturated in blood, her pretty blue eyes now show no signs of life.
“She received a fatal hit and fell to the ground,” A voice says approaching the two men, “she has bruising to the stomach and broken fingernails, I think she tried to fight back.”
The voice was Jenn, the forensics investigator, a close friend to both Frank and Lewis.
“Do you know anything about her missing shoe?” Lewis questioned.
He received odd looks from both Jenn and Frank.
“She’s only wearing one shoe,” Lewis says as if he's the only one with a brain, “if we find her shoe we should be able to get a good idea of what happened here.”
“It will bring us closer to a culprit,” Frank says, “we need to identify her then we can interview close friends and family.”
“Maybe even the husband,” Lewis quietly mumbles as if he were talking to himself.
Lewis once again receives a look of confusion from both Frank and Jenn.
“Guys, she’s wearing a wedding ring,” Lewis says starting to get impatient, as it is very early in the
