The cigar smoke went up it to the Orange afternoon sky. This was Gerry's favorite part of the day, when he got a brake from working at the station. He loved to just sit in front of the hospital and watch the sun set and see the cars drive by with his cigar, it was peaceful. Just like that the peace ended. It was sound like a bomb had gone off. He turned around in horror to see the hospital in flames. Firefighters pored in trying to put out the raging flames as others went inside to save survivors. As he watched them go in a Man came out. In a flick of a second the hospital moaned and collapsed. The man he saw was covered in soot and looked at Gerry. He was scared and ran. Gerry chased Him and yelled to stop, as the man yelled "I

He examined the report on the incident the day before. The first page was just the description, white Male, 6 foot, brown long hair, brown eyes, the usual. He turned the page and began to read what he had been looking for. After a few ours he began to be stressed."They didn't add up," Gerry thought" He arrived at the hospital for internal injuries not to mention a broken leg and rib? Then walked out a day later with a bag and has no casts on? Leaves the bag outside the bathroom and walks off?" Gerry gathered the evidence and walked down to the chiefs office. He looked at the door and there it said chief Paul D.Randy. He knocked on the door and was told to come in. The tall brute opened the door to see his boss pigging off once again with potato chips and salami. The fat bearded man looked up and wiped the crumbs of his face. Gerry tossed the evidence on the desk and began to discuss the problem. He looked around, it being one of the first time he had gone in there. He noticed that it was full of pictures of his grandchildren. He also saw a reddish brown leather couch and tiredly through his body onto it. As he talked to Chief Randy He began to fall asleep and tried to fight it but there was no hope it all went black. He was a woken to the sound of commotion outside the rooms and a faint sound that he couldn't recognize. Then the sound was louder and Gerry knew what it was, he had heard it yesterday.
