Creative Writing: The Legend Of Eldest Oak

Once upon a time; long ago, there was a young girl. Her name not to be said aloud. The legend goes that she had some sort of power. The ability to manipulate people into doing whatever she wanted them to, from moving themselves away from all sanity by destroying their own minds, to killing their entire families. She was the definition of conniving on a new level, not just that; she was wicked. Her looks were prepossessing, men found her completely ravishing. She made them see what they wanted to, making them unbeknownst to the real evil that was lurking beneath her breasts. Then came one man, who believed he could see through her innocent veil. He had such confidence that he thought he could see her dark interior as though there was a menacing cloud surrounding her at all times. Sometimes …show more content…

Where am I now? I thought to myself while sifting through the ever changing colors of the Eldest Oak. I have been wandering in this ghostly forest for quite some time now. The last place I remember being was the Church of St.Catherine. I was there getting information on the “Child of Sin,” at least that’s what she has been called lately. There have been many names for her; Beautiful Witch, Foul Grace, The Risen Demon... The list goes on and on. I have been tracking her down ever since young men in my village started disappearing. That seems so long ago now. My mind started to wander again. It must be late October now? When did I leave? January? No, or was it March? Has it really been that long? I need to get back on track. As I continue to wander I see a glimpse of a shadow figure pass nearby. What was that? Could it be her? I start to smell something foul and unearthly. So nauseating I think I am going to be sick.
