Creative Writing: The Gettysburg Fight

Tyler had somehow found a way to get stuck in the middle of the Battle of Gettysburg. Although 10 roads led into the battlefield he couldn’t even find one of them.
“Run kid, yelled some random soldier. You gotta get out out of here!”
From that point on Tyler is trying to find a way out of the Gettysburg battlefield. Tyler felt like the battle was really intense the first day he had got stuck in the battlefield. As he was running looking for a way out he started to notice more and more dead bodies on the ground.
“Out of my way, screamed a huge dude with a machine gun. I need to get to the front line.” BAM BOOM BAM BAM BAM. There sure are LOTS of gunshots getting fired out here. Thought Tyler. I wish I was in my bed at home sleeping, instead I have to be in this …show more content…
Tyler thinks he has a new idea of how to get out. He thinks he can follow soldiers out without getting caught. He finally thinks he found a good group to follow. He has to stay low and move between the shadows of the trees.
That’s it, he thought! I finally found a rode to get out! As he was running out, a bullet flew right by his head. He knew it was Drew. “STOP,” yelled Drew.
Tyler didn’t know what he was going to do. His mind was going one thousand miles an hour. He just couldn’t think of a good idea. Then he thought of something. I can use a dead soldier’s gun that is on the ground. He picked the gun up and shot Drew!
“Owwwwwwwwwch,” Drew screamed.
Ya I did it, thought Tyler. Now let's find a way out.
I can’t believe I just got out of the Battle of Gettysburg, thought Tyler. I guess that is a good reward for not giving up and trying to find a way out. Although it took 2-3 days, Tyler thought, I am still happy I made it out alive. Also I don’t have to deal with Drew anymore, thought Tyler. I wonder if I am like the people who got medals of honor for their actions he thought
