The Forest Cult
It’s late, I’m running. Sprinting away from something don’t know the likes of. At this anonymous forest, heart pumping, feet are numb, I feel like my body is about to get annihilated. I check my phone “Wow, it’s already 2 am”. My phone battery is drained to the last bit, I fall into a deep sleep, and suddenly, all hope has disappeared. I dodged her punch completely and knocked out one of her tooth, and started beating her at rapid succession of hits, as I feel drowsy. “She must had slipped something in my drink!,” I thought to myself. As soon I had realized this is what happened while I was at the washroom I started running as fast as I could. I was sprinting, sprinting away from something i don’t know the likes of. I faint at that moment while having a quick spree of memories from my entire life leading up to that point. Then everything became pitch black, then I heard another voice, but it was female. It said the same thing as the last voice “You cannot die now, not like this” and I had the same visions except there was a woman crying at the man on the cross. I snapped back to my life, alive. But it wasn’t over yet. Then, I spotted helicopters soaring into the forest with firemen on ropes connected

Dear Coach Williams, I have been a year long journey to the Tundra biome. It is very cold here and snows majority of the time. Summers bring wildflowers, but other than that it is mostly snow. Screaming, running, cursing, crying, I heard it all. I grabbed Mariah, hoisting her on my back, following my mom who was already in the stairwell waiting for us, despite all of the people pushing through. Wind bustled through the branches of the trees, making the leaves howl in their symphony. Walking along the gravel path in the woods makes you realize how intricate the clash between weather and nature can be. Two natural forces both in harmony and constantly fighting.
