It’s the top of the seventh. We have a pitching substitution. Fernando Rodney replaces Trevor Cahill for the Cubs. Matt Carpenter is up to the plate. It’s called a strike! The Cubs fans here at Wrigley go crazy! He takes ball one. It’s a beautiful night for baseball. Oh, he takes ball two. Oh, a swing and a miss for strike two!! The fans here at Wrigley field are up on their feet cheering and going crazy, pushing Rodney to throw a third strike!! The fifth pitch goes foul. The Cubs fans are still going crazy. And he goes down swinging!!! That’s out number one for the Cubbies!!! A strikeout for Fernando Rodney!! Cubs’ fans here are just screaming and hollering for the Cubs to take the series!!! He’s already hit a three run homer today so we have to be careful with our pitching here. And he takes a ball with an 82 mph changeup. And he takes another ball with an 84 mph changeup. That changeup seems to be Rodney’s popular, go-to pitch. And here’s another ball with an 83 mph changeup. That changeup really needs some work if he wants to get him swinging. And look at this!! A two seam fast ball for a strike!! Ninety five miles per hour!!! And another ball walks Piscotty and he’ll be on base for Matt Holiday to come up to the plate. Matt Holiday hits a foul ball. Oh boy that’s a far one!! And there’s a ball in the dirt for Rodney. Holiday takes another ball. Oh. OH. OHHH. Holiday swings and he misses!! That’s strike two!!! And here comes another
