They say he’s the first in the whole kingdom. They say he’s a science experiment. They say he must not belong in the kingdom. They all want to see him with their own eyes to make sure he’s not a rumor. That's what they say at least, and he’s my brother.
Way before humans were alive, and after dinosaurs were extinct there was our cow kingdom. We had strawberry milk cows, chocolate milk cows, and plain old white milk cows. The strawberry milk cows were known as the sassy cows who always had an opinion. The white milk cows were so plain, they were always seeking attention and they could be partly bossy. The son's name was Witterson. Because Witterson was a white milk cow and he had chocolate milk cow parents everybody loved him and everybody gave him so much attention. About two years later I was born. I’m a chocolate milk cow, and the cutest little cow anyone has ever seen. I’ve been told I have the best personality any cow ever had. Then basically everyone but our parents forgot about Whitterson. Nobody payed attention to him anymore and Witterson did not like that. He was used to getting all the attention and if he didn't he was mad. So of course he was mad, he was so mad that he tried to sabotage me. Witterson would also roll in the mud so people wouldn't recognize him, and so that he could try to make a sneak attack on me. Our parents recognized that Witterson was sabotaging me and they sent him to counseling to see if the counselor could help him work out his harsh feelings toward me. I turned to see what he wanted, and he stated, “I have to say, the of bomb you disabled today is one of the most difficult to do and you didn't make a single mistake. I am very proud of you Charlotte, and you can be looking forward to a spot on this squad in your future.”
I took a minute to think about what he had just told me and when I turned to tell him thanks he was gone, and my professor stood in front of me. Oh snap I thought, now she was going to yell at me for not coming to take the final exam. I was shocked when she mentioned, ”Hey Charlotte don't worry about the exam. You showed me today that you understand the material.”
After all the news and press died down I went back to normal life. In two days it would be Halloween, my favorite holiday. Halloween is my favorite holiday because you get to be whoever you want to be for one night. I was dressing up as a superhero.
Ever since I was a little cow that’s all I wanted to be when I grew up, But then I actually grew up and realized that wasn’t going to happen, so I went for being an FBI agent

Old dusty clothes draped over the old faded grey rickety chair, resting in the corner. The pitch black wallpaper ridiculed with silver spider webs obscuring the majority of the walls, with the windowed wall disintegrated from the events of the world. The single bed relaxes alone in the corner of this confined space. The small abandoned bed, with its childish bright blue duvet, faded from time, neatly made mocking itself and the rest of the room with its emptiness. The dark wooden bookcase, filled with torn, old half eaten storybooks, half rotting away infested with dark radiation enlarged bugs.…

“I know that he is a powerful necromancer and has practiced the black arts for over 800 years. No one is certain that Balthazar is even his real name and rumors abound that he is the Black Visage, the most powerful necromancer of all time and to be the same Black Visage believed slain by Kaylunse, the golden knight, thousands of years ago. The Black Visage, known to be over 2000 years old, and no longer mortal after performing mutilations and experiments on his own body, making himself a living demon. After slaying his victims, he took their souls which made him even more powerful and used that power to get darker, more forbidden, the stuff out of nightmares, magic, which created enough trepidation that even demons bow to him.” “Do you…

Halloween is just around the corner, shops are loading their windows with witches hats, broomsticks, plastic spiders and all manner of ghoulish costumes. Here in the UK, scorn is poured on the holiday, mainly due to the fact the meaning of Halloween is largely unknown and often misunderstood. Many consider it to be an Americanisation and to some extent it is, others simply do not want to open their doors to mischievous children in cheap rubber masks. The true history of Halloween was lost long ago in a flurry of commercialisation, buried under a deluge of tawdry plastic decorations and begrudgingly given sweeties.…
