Cars of equipment were all in a line, driving down the dark, empty freeway. No other cars in sight. Rain was flooding the roads, the moon was full and shining behind the clouds. Jethrow leading the pack, Scar in the truck behind him. Suddenly, the whole line was at a dead stop. Everyone began jeering their heads, rolling down windows, anything they could to see why they had come to this sudden stop. Several crew members were yelling, horns were honking, but their leader still refused to move forward. The truck door creaked open, the fearless leader emerged and in the midst of the road, stood a man with a hunched figure, ragged clothes and hair,and clown face paint along with a severe amount of blood smeared across his face. It's fur was standing up, and it let out a threatening roar. The three were beginning to get excited as they all leaned closer. The man threw his whip to the side. "What is he doing?" Fred yelled, "You're going to get eaten!" The man ignored him and unlatched the door. The lion growled, and when Jethrow opened the door, the lion lunged. However, he was quick and turned out of the way. The lion ran past him and when it turned back around, Jethrow had raised his hands and began to whistle. He let out a high pitched noise and the lion seemed entranced. It stared at him for a moment, then began to growl again.
The three sat and watched as the lion began to inch towards the man. "Hey, Bozo! I don't think whistling is going to help you much!" Max yelled. Jethrow held out a finger, indicating for them to wait. Matt crossed his arms.
The lion lunged again, but Jethrow had a trick up his sleeve. Just as the lion closing in, Jethrow bellowed out a loud roar. The crowd gasped as the tent shook, and the lion backed down in fear. Jethrow whistled a few more notes, and the lion got back up and turned towards the audience. It looked at the crowd, then bowed. "Welcome to the freak show." Jethrow said with a grin. Then the curtain fell and hid the stage once
