He looked back at his small turquoise house, before continuing on. Isaac looked at the houses in the neighborhood seeing, differences in the structures and the colors. It felt like each house had their own personality. Isaac liked that it was easy to tell the houses apart, while the houses in Vircorden town had very little difference. Getting closer to the beach, he thought he saw a white ball of light rushing through the palm trees, rubbing his eyes, the ball of light disappeared.

"That was weird. I must be imagining things."

Isaac excitement continued to grow, getting closer to the ocean. The moon's reflection made the water seem as if it was glowing. This was the first time he had ever stepped foot on a beach. He had seen the beach in movies and pictures, but actually being at one felt a lot different. The sound of the calm waves hitting the shore was so relaxing. Isaac believed he could fall asleep here if he had a pillow and a blanket. He truly felt like this new experience was something magical. While time continued to go by, he remembered he needed to head back home. His mom undoubtedly knew of his absence. Knowing he'd get a scolding for his

Getting further away from the ocean, he could hear something from the distance. It sounded faint at first, but it progressively got a bit louder, the longer he stood there. It sounded like something crashing into the ground. Within seconds he started to hear crying, he noticed It was a girl's voice. Isaac hesitated, not sure what to do next. He had no idea what was going on, but in his mind, he only had two choices. Run and get help or go after the girl by himself. It was a do or die situation for him, but he chose to go after the girl himself, believing he needed to act

The beach was my favorite song. The gull’s obnoxious caws as they flew overhead hunting for snappers, the toddlers laughing at the mischievous waves that grazed their unexpecting toes, the running dialogue and staccato beats of laughter that danced between me and my friends: every sound was a note in the ever-familiar symphony of the bay.
