It was the evening of April 14, 1865. The air was warm and the wind whispered quitely through the trees. All was calm at the theatre that night. The only sound to be heard was the quite chitter-chatter of those around me as they took their seats and discussed tonight's important guest, the President himself! "You always were my best friend." Lincoln said, "I'll never forget that." Licoln then turned to his wife, "Mary." He said, "I want you to know that I love you, and that I've enjoyed the time we've spent together on this earth." "I love you too, Abe."
