Dubner and Levitt gave an example by stating “The gulf between the information we publicly proclaim and the information we know to be true is often vast”(Dubner & Levitt, 77). That statement is beyond correct, we often lie about things to make ourselves look better, or sound better and this is a problem that many consumers face when buying a product. Potential buyers face asymmetric information in evaluating services prior to their purchase and since the expert imposes on the cost to the consumer, the consumer wants to try to lower the initial cost. This incentive may be exploited by firms that create diversity in the other services that meet the needs of the consumer. The consumer often faces factors of abuse by loosing money, buying worthless items or even investing in a stock that will only have them loose money rather than gain, which shows how the experts are apathetic towards their clients and are one-hundred percent avaricious.…

Have you ever wondered how creative you are, or about the urgency in independent thinking, or even about the fact that everyone’s own humanity revolves around it? Hands sometimes do things on their own in defense of creativity, or sometimes because of the lack of it. Hands must be put to creative use, and the human hand can’t be merged with technology, as that will kill creativity. Fire is primarily used to promote the burning of knowledge and thinking, and it achieves that by burning books. On the flip side, when used in the right place and when created by hand, fire can be warming and comforting.…

Like a viper an arrow pierced out from the thorn ridden brush before piercing through the side of a wild pig, the tip driving it through the heart. Before the fat brown target could squeal in pain it collapsed, dead. The brown-haired owner of that arrow followed out from the bushes only a moment later, a short bow in his left hand and a quiver of arrows on his right hip. The young man held no excitement on his lightly tanned face, just a small glimmer of satisfaction in his own abilities hidden in his emerald eyes. With careful movements his calf-length leather boots slid through the brambles he’d hidden behind, taking care to not ruin the dark green trousers that tucked into them.…

My first experience with art was an obsession with how I could photograph a flower, its beauty shown through my great lack of technique and knowledge of photography. This experience was important because it allowed me to start to see the world through an artist’s eye. With more exploration I moved beyond the flower and began photographing other subjects. What I was photographing was mostly nature, very clichéd imagery. I fell into the trap that many High School students do.…

Ralph Waldo Emerson is a famous essayist, poet, and speaker from the mid 19th century. In one of his essays he wrote: “ Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.” This quote has only been attributed to him in the past few decades after he died. I agree with this statement because if you do not try anything new then you will not gain new skills, you will miss opportunities to make new friends, and you will not learn about new opportunities you may like. First of all, if you do not try anything new then you will not gain new skills.…
