It's been 2 years since the accident. 2 years since he decided he wanted revenge.

4 schools and 4 different identities. Since the first encounter with Randle, I've moved so much. First it was Abbey Donovan, then Vicki Gilbert, Emily Hampton and finally Thea Collins today.

Parker Adams picked me up that morning as he did everyday. He was someone whom I've grown very fond of over the past year. His blue eyes and brunette hair pushed to the side had probably made me drool for the millionth time. We drove to school passing the many green trees and busy streets of South Carolina, finally arriving at East Coast College. The day went by and just as I was about to go sit in the canteen area, my phone vibrated and my gut dropped;

Parker's facial expression also dropped.
"Thea, who the hell is this? And what do they mean by changing identities?"
Oh no, he cannot find out. No one can. That was the number one rule when I signed up with the FBI. Parker gave me an angry yet confused look, as did all of my friends. I panicked and didn't know what to do so I ran. I ran through the hallways and out of the school, without thinking. I was running so fast down the street until I heard the engine of a car get louder and louder. I turned around and suddenly everything went black. An anxious feeling began to grow in my gut and all I could feel was the pain.

"Ow!" I held the throbbing pain in my forehead. "Argh, where am I?" I felt so weak. Hmm, white bed, toilet, and a terrible outside view? Great, I was stuck in a hospital bed once

"Do you mind telling me what is going on? Care to explain?" Parker had just walked in, and so Mum left for work.
I didn't know what to say. If he found out about my past, not only would he hate me but I'd be putting him in danger too. I was not ready to risk that relationship with someone I had grown so close to.
"I…I can't, I'm sorry," stuttering on what to say.
“What do you mean you can't say? Thea, you’re not saying anything! Can't you see I'm trying to get through to you?" I could see the pain in his eyes.
"I know but I just can't Parker," I said, beginning to cry.
"Really Thea? God, why can't you just let me in? I told you about my past, why couldn’t you tell me yours? Whatever I give up. If you want to push me away that's your choice." And with that, he left.

Why was I ruining every relationship I cared about? I so badly wanted to tell him, but I couldn't.
Knock knock. Nobody answered so I turned around to face the window. Sheer shock blew over my face and my body stiffened. No, this could not be happening.
"Miss me?" said a familiar voice.
"Wha…What are you doing here?
"What do you mean? I told you I'd always find you Thea, or should I say, Ellie

    There are three types of identity crisis: a temporary change of identity; no change at all, and a permanent change that isn’t reverted. Looking at the classic novels An Inspector Calls by J.B Priestly and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, we can see these are present in their characters. Of Mice and Men was first published in 1937, it is a poignant tale of a remarkable friendship between two peripatetic workers in the Great Depression years of 1930’s America. George is a small hardworking man and Lennie is his large, primitive friend; they both share a dream for land of their own; but when they find work on a California’s Salinas Valley, the dream is pushed to the utmost limit.
