I overdid it, once again; I used too much magic and blood to help Dad open the grimoire book that had a powerful seal. As I stood there, watching Dad carefully scan over the grimoire, the gray spots were growing bigger and I remember starting to collapse. The last thing I saw before giving in to unconsciousness was the grimoire book dropping as Dad realized what was happening. "Sophie!" then everything went black.

"Hey Mercer," I heard faintly as I was waking up. I slowly opened my eyes to see Archer next to me, "Why?" I muttered still not fully awake, and confused about my surroundings suddenly being outside. "What are you talking about?" Archer said with a look of confusion. "Why did you have to be part of the Eye?" I muttered. "I'm sorry, Sophie" he said... Wait, Sophie? Since when did he call me Sophie? "Sophie?" ... "Sophie?" Everything began to fade away.
