Creative Writing Seymore

I have found this crumpled piece of paper in one of the inner compartments of my jacket that I wore when the ship sunk thirteen years ago. We were only on the island for a month before two men were flying over in their helicopter and found us. They didn’t know where to find us before that since we were on uncharted land. The island is now a residential area named Seymore, after one of the men from the helicopter. Malai and I are married now (I’ve taken her last name) and have been for a while. We have two sons, Lance who is six, and Glenn, who is to be four next week.
