Along the Hungarian- Serbian border, hundreds of migrants and refugees fled from a temporary camp due to frustration with authorities. The camp, in Roszke, Hungary, contained hundreds of people waiting for buses to transport them, many of whom had waited overnight in the cold to move toward the border near Austria and Budapest. However, only one bus arrived, which created a huge commotion among the migrants, who were then well aware that there were no more buses coming. One Syrian man stated, “We’ve been here for two days and the Hungarian government only brings one bus?” Frustrated, some migrants made their way toward the railway line and escaped from the camp, leading to most of the others following.…

Casting a silencing spell mid battle was the riskiest thing I could have done during the peak of the Exalted War. Though this was the only unwavering chance I had at having the upper hand against the throne’s demigod challenger, Sahli; the destroyer of man and conqueror of southern lands. “You think that my father’s wizardry will work?” before tauntingly adding, “…against me, Evelyn?” Mockingly I smirked; instead focusing my life-force on just that.…

Blows My Mind If we shall be found guilty of anything on the Day of Judgement, it will not be because we believed too much but that we believed too little about all the things God intended for us to experience in this lifetime and eternity. St. Paul, quoting his predecessor the Prophet Isaiah, wrote “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:8) June was a tall redheaded senior of Irish decent and full of life. She abounded in optimism and faith even though her body was ravaged by an abdominal cancer that caused her to take on…

Wind bustled through the branches of the trees, making the leaves howl in their symphony. Walking along the gravel path in the woods makes you realize how intricate the clash between weather and nature can be. Two natural forces both in harmony and constantly fighting.
