Creative Writing: Response To Fort Huachuca

Decent Essays
Thank you for the response Amber and to be honest, I would take Fort Huachuca of Augusta any day. Not because I grew up on the west coast and try to stay west of the Mississippi, but because of the bad experiences I had with a unit from GA. As far as the reading, thank for the advice, but unfortunately when it comes to literature, I have to read it way more than twice to get the meaning and event then sometimes I miss the point. Hopefully, it won’t be as bad as I think.
As far as the degree, I don’t have anything spectacular in mind. I want to finish to set a good example for my children and of course make me more marketable after I retire from the Army.

Germans are constantly shelling us, sometimes during the day, and sometimes during the night.…

The day began to die, and the men started the long walk to their death. Geb led the two men to the gallows on the mountains overlooking Sentinel Point, unaware if he was dreaming or awake. As the chief executioner to Lord McRoss it was his duty to carry out the sentences passed by Lord McRoss, however cruel they might seem. However, his mind had been playing tricks on him lately; but he was quite sure he was awake right now. Both the guards were young, probably having just completed their training, and had the snake and sword of House McRoss on their shields and armor.…

With the Apes: Birute Galdikas Reaches Camp Leakey "I felt to the marrow of my bones . . . that the apes surrounding me were refugees from paradise, a paradise that we humans left behind to seek our destinies on the savannas and open lands of the earth. They were survivors of Eden. " In my prior years, the time I spent aiding the orangutans in Borneo would never have come to mind as the deciding factor in the path my legacy would take. The boat ride to New Bark Town wasn’t as bad as Elaina had expected. Honestly, she wasn’t sure what it was that she expected; this ride to the traditional trainers’ starting point was the only time she had traveled any great distance without her mother. No one singled her out because she was Sabrina’s daughter, and she doubted many people knew that Sabrina’s daughter was on board. Elaina spent most of the trip leaning over the railing and looking down at the water, thinking.…
