The next day, I found myself still in the empty, wooden cabin warmth brang from the logs Jerry had cut. I decided to cancel all my plans and maybe relax. I don't know what came to me, for I have nothing to do here anymore or maybe I do. I stood up from my bed to make coffee and as I did I was still thinking about “why”, my eyebrows crunched up and my eyes close due to over thinking. Then, the next thing I know I was at the orphanage again.

When I gave him his hot chocolate, he took a sip and a smile crept up his face. Now I had the urge to ask him why he had lied. “Jerry,” I said in a calm tone “why had you lied to me?” His expression was the same as when I had asked him to have hot chocolate, but then he looked down and just said “sorry.” While he said that I felt a pang to my heart. “I will now go chop woods” he said and I just nodded, I went to go check on him and as always he had cut a lot. I gave him fifty cents and he looked at me with his widened grey eyes he muttered a small thank you and
