Following a couple of days of sailing, I spotted an island off-course of our journey. I decided to see what was on the island, as it could possibly help me in the future. As the ship approached the island, my crew seemed confused as to what was happening. So, I told them that we would be looking into this island. Two men were going to accompany me, as I could not afford to lose any more after what happened on Ismarus. As I set foot onto the island, I looked around and witnessed small creatures running swiftly. There were huts stationed on the hills and the creatures ran in and out of them. The hills were not much taller than I was myself. One of the creatures ran up to me and greeted me. “Greetings, I am King Dwarf, leader of the land of …show more content…
Their height varied, but the tallest only reached up to my waist. After a full day of being on the island, I never saw a single weapon anywhere. Around the island, there were farms with animals. Those animals were the Dwarfs’ food source. The Dwarfs provided my men I with a large amount of food.
Suddenly, I heard screaming and quick footsteps coming from outside our hut. As a result, I put my food down and went outside to investigate what was going on. Those Dwarfs are evil, violent, and dangerous to us. They invaded the previous island we lived on and killed several Dwarfs, eventually forcing the remaining ones to leave the island. I, luckily, was hidden in a secret hut underground, which they never found. They hold sharp swords in their hands that have poison filled inside of them, so if you are stabbed and don’t die from the initial stab, you will die from the poison. We need to leave this hut immediately, follow me.” My men and I followed King Dwarf through a hidden door in his hut. The king entered a room at the end of a hallway, in which we stayed in during the time of the attack. From above us, I could hear screams of Dwarf citizens being slain by the invaders. We needed to find a way out of this cave. “King Dwarf, would you like to come along with my crew and I on our adventure?” I asked the
