Creative Writing On Homelessness

An automatic door opens, dozens of footsteps walk through it. A “clink” and a “ka-Ching” is heard as it echoes through a line of impatient customers. Many come for various reasons, some might come for food while others might just come to pick up a new video game. The rattling noises of merchandise filling plastic bags can be heard as well while workers try to get out as many people as possible. However, it’s just another day and another dollar as some might say. We can pretty much just say it’s a regular day at the super market.
I walk seemingly through the entrance and quickly notice the expressions of many people. I begin to observe as I walk that some are in a hurry while others walk with their phone. A mother quickly turns to tuck her crying child …show more content…
I hear giggles and sounds of shopping carts, I walk past the bakery and my mouth begins to water as I both see and smell very delightful donuts. I see many different foods and I see a young attractive female walking my direction. I happen to make eye contact as the young woman is walking. I smile and nod my head and my mind goes back to the donuts. I think to myself shortly after, wow she is very pretty. I brainstorm to think what she must’ve been doing here. Perhaps she is just getting groceries.
Eventually I pass the bakery and make my way towards the deli section. Towards the deli section I see chicken being cooked in a huge oven and food being made. The aroma fills the air and finds its way into my nose. Reaching in my pocket I notice only about five dollars. I approach a line that has a few people and I see some with carts filled with food. It doesn’t make sense to buy cooked food when you already have food I thought. Once again, I think to myself I’m just a passerby but some people are ridiculous! Some carts are filled to the top with food! Looking at my clock I notice that its rush
