Hello Mr. Bills, I am currently sick and not allowed to attend school until I have received my test results from the doctors due to the fact that I am highly contagious at the moment. Since I am not allowed at school, I gave Kaitlin the outline of "A Stream in the Ravine". Guy and I both worked on it in class and he told me he would turn it in because the bell had rung. When you handed papers back, you gave it to me. I have talked to Guy and he said he turned it in.…

Buninybah We build their cities, we run their machines, we fight their wars. We are nothing more than fuel; fuel that powers the elite; the elite that hide behind their logos of corporations. This is their world and their most valuable resource is not in the ground; it is us. After all, money is not what drives them, its power; money is simply the tool they use to control us; worthless pieces of paper we depend on to move, feed and entertain ourselves.…
A kingdom founded on fear and ruled by the corrupt has always been the home of Charlie and Katherine and though everyone dreads the week of the Marathon, no one dares to leave. As the week grows closer, the people grow even more afraid, but it's not because of the run itself, but the walls of the maze. No one knows quite how the walls work inside the maze, but if the wrong person were to touch it, they disappear into thin air. This Marathon lasts a total of seven whole days and if you aren't out by day 5, people talk of beasts that appear out of nowhere and chase you until you either die or escape. The question is, what happens to those who neither die nor escape by the seventh…
Pony and I lay there in the woods watching the stars. As Pony went home I started to doze off as I watched the stars. As I was sleeping, Ponyboy woke me up with an aggressive tug & push, “come on Johnny, we’re getting out of here” Pony began, “we’re going far away” he continued. I didn’t know what happened or what was wrong but I just followed Pony’s lead.…
The Journey of Bob In the 1400’ yeti’s roamed the earth, there was one who stood out from the others. His name was Bob, it was a misnomer name for a yeti. He had longer hair than others because he didn’t like the yeti groomers. They scared him with their big scissors, last time he went Betty was cutting his hair and it was awful, she almost made him bald.…
The sun was setting below the horizon, the heavens stained with a shade of crimson and the twilight moon waning in the distance. A biting gust blew across the town of Dhanushkodi as a storm started to brew. The market was set ablaze by the swarm of mindless people set about on their daily business, the dust being catapulted off the floor by hectic feet and scrambling bodies. Yet Arthur felt strangely complacent, completely at ease amongst the pandemonium of the streets. The doctor said he had only weeks to live, his skin was turning a tinge of blue and he could already feel his life being drained out of him.…
Sleeping peacefully in her bed, Laura was cradling a pillow to her chest. The sun was beaming through her blinds causing the woman to stir. Usually, waking up was a simple task for Laura; she was a morning person after all. She groaned when the first beam of sunlight hit her face. Picking up her alarm clock on her nightstand, Laura looked at the time.…
Wind bustled through the branches of the trees, making the leaves howl in their symphony. Walking along the gravel path in the woods makes you realize how intricate the clash between weather and nature can be. Two natural forces both in harmony and constantly fighting. The rain was going to come down any second; it’s distinct smell was filling the air. Plush, intertwining clouds pushed their grey front towards where I stood.…
Movin’ On Up Have you ever had a teacher who prematurely judged you as a student? I mean, the way a teacher, without getting to know you or your abilities as a student, just assumes that you are “just like your sibling”. My sophomore year of high school was the beginning of my “lack of confidence” path as a student. I had an assignment to write and orally present a 5 minute speech.…
