Creative Writing: Obsidian Island

As I woke up my life flashed before my eyes, in front of me I saw a big pile of metal and I realized my parents weren’t around. I stood up with my clothes burnt, damaged, and torn, and started digging through the sharp burned metal that kept poking me through my skin but I didn’t care. I dug for twenty minutes until I saw skin at the very bottom, it my parents all right, my dead parents who were filled with metal. I ran, ran as far away as I could , sobbing until there was almost no body fluids left in me. I got to a nearby lake that for some reason looked familiar, I drank the very clean/clear water that tasted amazing. After that I climbed on a big and pretty sharp tree and when I reached I saw a building with an O on it, then I saw a lake, river, mountain range, delta, volcano, valley, coast, and a bay, then I realized this is Obsidian Island.

“I know you have millions of questions, Shawn, but with have to close the door before the mutant insects get in”, the professor said.
“WHAT?” I shouted.
“And how do you know my name?”
The professor closed the door. “This might sound hard to believe but I tried to make a super human potion and I tested on some animals and then the potion spread around like how a zombie infects humans”, said the professor.
Since I was 9 I believed him. “But how do you know my name?”I asked “What do you mean ,we’re related”,he said. “Wait, Uncle Stone, is that you?”I asked.
“Well duh”,he said.
We hugged and all that stuff then he gave me some clothing and healed my wounds and then he told me about the mutant animals, and he even asked if I had a plan, I said, “I do”.
I told him, “Maybe we can lure them into the volcano and then later cure them with some kind of retro
