The gravestones stood silently, row upon row like soldiers long forgotten, a scream shattered the silence… She cried and begged me but I was unmoved by her pleading and soon she stopped fighting, her lifeless body broken like the headstones around us. My Love will be here soon to collect her.
I waited, wandering through the graveyard til it felt like something was watching me. The air turned black all around me. My heart beats wildly and a grin stretches across my lips as the flames of the fire lick my face. The flesh of my latest victim pops and crackles in the otherwise silent air. Icy fingers gripped my arm in the darkness. My hair stood on end, a shiver raced down my spine and a lump came to my throat. It was him... I hear his intake of

I do not even have the emotions to allow me to return your feelings. I am sorry.” He said this, with absolute indifference, not showing that he was even slightly sorry. He turns coldly away from my reach into the shadows. Heartbroken and stricken with grief and anger, made a decision. I grab the long, bloody knife and creep quickly and silently over to him. I press my lips to his for the first and last

With my last breathe I whisper his name, hoping he can forgive me. Spots blink in my eyes as I wake up, sunlight shining down where I lay. I struggle to stand as a heavy new weight pulls on my back, doing its best to pull me down again. I look around wearily, the gravestones reflecting the light into my eyes. I gasp as pain hits my head. Everything is enhanced and bright. I hear cries of newborns and the last gasp of breathe from every dying person all at once. Everywhere. My mind attempts to understand all that is happening around me in vain.
“That must of been a dream.” I whisper to myself. But the feeling of pain still seemed too real. The weight on my back flutters and I stare over my shoulder in horror as black wings stretch out. “This is your life now. Only those close to death and already dead will be able to see you.” The voice from what I had thought was a dream spoke again in my

It is in that way - forehead to forehead, hips aligned instinctively, heaving chests and groans of hunger and desire - that I crash and fall, everything I know up to that moment falling away from me while he races to his end just after me. He presses his face into her shoulder and crumbles as our bodies offer up shudder after shudder of release until all that remains is a quivering suspension of movement and then silence. I run my fingers through his damp curls, the smell of sweat mingling with the various aromas of the candles – vanilla and pumpkin that is intertwined with the lingering salt…

Opening the once lonely door, there was a hallway that seemed to have just rejoiced with a once depriven necessity. As striking as the first rose in spring, her silky, soft, shiny hair combined with her enticingly exquisite eyes produced a sublime look; it instantly ejected any pressure in the room. Her presence would’ve even made an angry person hopeful.
