“Did you not hear me!” Yuri yelled. “I don’t have family who I can rely on. I hate what they do, but they made me more than what I am.”

“No they didn't.” Sabra said. “The way you are right now is because of you. If they really made you, then you’d be a murderer like them.”

Yuri remained silent, continuing to walk with Sabra. Moving down a few blocks, they found themselves stopping to catch a breath. Sabra ripped a sleeve of her shirt, using it to put pressure on the bleeding. Finding themselves in an alleyway, they watched the police speed past them, heading towards the destruction Yuri made. A lot of people want to blame the parents of the offenders, asking “what did you turn your child into?” 36% of serial killers were physically abused, 26% were sexually abused, and 50% were psychologically abused (Mitchell and Aamodt 45). Many people have logically come to the conclusion that just because someone is abused, it does not mean that they will become a serial killer; or even a murderer; which is true. In the general population (people who have never committed murder) only 6% are physically abused, 3% are sexually abused, and 2% are psychologically abused (Mitchell and Aamodt 45). The dramatic difference of abuse frequency between people who are serial killers and people who are not seems evident enough to support that serial killers are created.…

I walked up to the entrance of the evacuated home. The house could have been an enchanting two-story house; with its ivory framed windows, and front lawn. If it was not abandoned and lifeless, maybe this house would have been the dream house everyone fancied. But it's lifeless and boorish, just like the carrion of Timothy Woodsen. His body was no longer there, but the evidence was.…

Murder's Stellar Audiovisual Design When the player has little-to-no direct influence over proceedings, it runs the risk of feeling lifeless--like you're simply staring at a low-poly painting. Thankfully, Murder remains engrossing throughout, in large part due to its audiovisual design. Murder's electronic soundtrack--complete with wavy synths and infectious rhythms--compliments both the immediate action on screen and overall narrative. Please excuse the poor wording, but KubixXx' soundtrack seems like the only one Murder could possibly have--it fits that well. Its versatility enables it to accompany both slower explorative sections as well as more intense ones equally well.…

The sniper grabbed the knife from his pocket and cut his brother out of his gear. He then grabbed the whiskey from his pocket, poured it on the wound to cleanse it, and cut off a piece of his sleeve to wrap around the wound in order to stop the bleeding, in denial that he was actually dead. It’s very rare that this particular sniper was ever phased by anything. He stepped back a bit, horrified by the gruesome visual he would never be able to remove from his mind, ingrained in his thoughts, for every day, every hour, every waking moment from dawn ‘til dusk, and into the depth of night for as long as the sniper lived.…

Where criminal homicide is concerned, it can further be broken down into murder, manslaughter, and negligent homicide. Each subset of criminal homicide has several elements and characteristics that distinguish one from another.…
