Creative Writing: Mo's Story

Mo's story began on a Friday afternoon a few weeks ago. Which of course at the time, Mo believed Friday to be the start of a normal weekend, but she was wrong. Now, I am not saying her weekend was awful, but it did run awry. The plan was to travel to her father's house in Dixon, which is about two hours away from Bloomington-Normal. So basically, the brave and courageous Mo needed coffee and a bathroom, her mother and stepfather needed a tow truck, and the poor little Neon needed a break. And as if an otherworldly god heard Mo's pleas, a tow truck appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Mo's mother and stepfather's car was loaded onto the truck and dragged away. Mo, her mother, and stepfather all piled into her little Neon, and immediately begin to search for a restroom and some
