Declan shrugged it off and helped to hide her hair under a tight cap. Moira winced again as he pushed on a pair of ankle boots that were two sizes too big. Moira grabbed her own shift and shoved it into the large pants pocket built into the side. "Let's go, before we are caught." He had a slight grin on his face as they made their way to the side doors. "Stay close to me, Danu, so we don't become separated. Act like you are meant to be here and no one will question us too closely. If someone does stop us, you'll let me do all the talking."

Her feet glided down and she began to move with a building swiftness. The Magick needed her to be a witness. To move faster than she ever had before because time was running out. Out of breath, but full of adrenaline, Moira stumbled to a halt outside of the cella caladaria. The hypocaust was running and the floor was overly hot, but Moira could not feel the pain. On the floor, lay the body of a younger man. Slim and athletic but with that willowy-ness that only youth have. His body was bare of covering, the clothes neatly folded and stacked on a bench. The shower head poured down blisteringly hot water, washing the gushing blood from his wrists down its channels. "Kinnon, I know thee, I see into your soul well. Let me help you to be at peace. Allow me to render your Grace. The water broke the spell Moira was under. Her mind cleared as she reached over and shut off the scalding water. The young man, Kinnon, moaned helplessly. The blood loss and weakness caused those memories to be patchy indistinct blurs that throbbed with each sluggish beat. The previous hours were the freshest therefore the brightest. Humiliation colored Kinnon’s perspective. From what Moira could glean, he had been stripped naked in front of his unit. Belittled about his lack of musculature. Someone used physical & psychological torture to try to force him to name his lover, assuming it was male. But Kinnon was strong enough to keep that information to himself, not wanting the same viciousness to happen to her. And yes his lover was a female, Kinnon kept her beautiful face in the forefront of his mind. Killing himself as a way to stave off giving away her name.
