Loving Through the Winter

Love becomes warmer in the winter with kisses melting away the gloom with fireplaces and candles flickering love becomes warmer in the winter hugging tightly while the snow swirls about the north wind shrills and howls then your passionate kiss leaves no doubt as to the warmth it gives our I love you whispered swirling upon the frosty air making the gray days seem to fade away holding tight to gloved hands through the snow we go leaving footprints behind that are soon covered by newly fallen snow with sincere smiles and twinkling eyes holding hands while climbing snow hills trying to catch the silvery snowflakes that go flying by perhaps a snow waltz or two as we glide through the snow and ice leaves a warm feeling

Do you know how it feels to be with the loved one, the person that makes you happy and secure by the fire warm? Cahn has done a good job putting his thoughts in this song saying that, even though there is a snow storm outside, and there is no place to go, as long as you’re with the person that you love it’s going to be fine. Cahn started with the first device, Personification. “Oh the weather outside is frightful…” (1;1), he uses personification here saying that there are too many snow piles outside and someone could get stuck, and it’s too scary to go out of the house because there might be an accident.…
