Creative Writing: Launa The Pug

Officer Lance was on duty on Saturday morning, when he received a report of a wandering dog. He got to the location, the Goodsburrow Woods, and saw that the dog was hungry and so thin you could see many of its bones. “Hey girl”, said the officer. “Come on. It’s okay.” The dog barked as if she were frightened. Officer Lance found a white jeweled collar on the floor that read, “Launa The Pug. If found, please return to 6954 Ash Road.” Officer Lance looked up after reading the tag and saw that the pug began running into the woods. He started to chase the pug, but she was out of reach. I am just escaping that torturer named Luke,” the hamster said. “He throws me around like if I am a hacky-sack and I couldn’t take it!”. “Oh, my gosh! I’m here because Elouise, my owner, was always at a ‘Research Center’, so she never had time to take care of me.
