The Corruption

The sun was shining bright on the town of Endsville, the only thing that was off, was that robotic figures were wandering the town, the amazement of the AI was jaw-dropping. One resident, who was always paranoid, and would always stay alone in his home, was a boy named Jack Darktail. This boy was the only one in the town that was the one who would actually question the amount of AI that was within the town. When he would walk outside at any time in his life, he would end up being watched by these...machines. The machines would always want data from him, his name, his address, the amount of money that he had, and where he lived, everything about him. He denied this easily, and wouldn’t share anything.

Did you think that excuse of a jail could hold me?” Zane said, looking up through the door to see the other three heroes.
“Well, I thought you died in that jail, they expose of any type of prisoner that is to last the tortures by a simple clean shot.”
“I’m not that easy to eliminate, they tried that, even a full point-blank, but they didn’t prevail.”
Jack would then let go of Zane, and run in, telling Kai, Derik, and Rubin the news, Rubin having a bit of a duller look, but Derik and Kai seemed indifferent about it.
“Come now, Rubin, even knowing that he doesn’t seem to really like that you have a bow for a weapon, it’s at least something.”
Rubin would sigh, and walk out to the figure, the metallic, red, glowing eye staring at the shorter male was menacing, but Rubin didn’t care, he was able to, the only one able to, stand up to Zane and not be in fear of him.
“Lets get inside, shall we, gentlemen?” Zane said, walking through the doorway, and walking into the house, the rest following.
“Zane, tell us, how did you make it out?”
