“Hello?”
“Hey Maddie,” there was a slight awkward pause, “I have some bad news.”
“Okay.. What is it?” said Maddie as she stiffened.
“Umm... Wyatt...” Quiet sobs filled the room, Madison could barely talk,
“What happened?”
“The plane he was in... It was shot down. I'm sorry Maddie, but Wyatt is dead.” Maddie could already feel the heat rising into her cheeks, as salty drops of water started to pour out of her beautiful blue eyes.

It was only seven months ago that she had said goodbye. It seemed much longer.
“Please come home safe.” Wyatt could hardly hear Madison through her loud sobs.
“I will. I promise.” said Wyatt fighting his emotions.
“I'll only be gone a year, I love you!” shouted Wyatt. She could barely hear him over the commotion of people around them trying to board their own plane. She managed to squeeze out an ‘I love you too’ before Wyatt quietly disappeared. A few times in the past three days, Maddie had multiple people come over and see how she was holding up with the whole Wyatt thing. Some people brought food, others would just stop by to terry her they were sorry for her loss. Brian, Wyatt’s brother.

She didn't want Brian to think she didn't want to meet her but she was exhausted. She looked at the clock before she left the house.9:58am. She needed to hurry if she wanted to get there by

Writing is a language used to convey or prove something. However, humans don’t get the skills to effectively describe what they are talking about from the air. Writing is a skill that requires a lot of practice to master. Because during our lifetimes we gradually get exposed to more difficult types of writing from narrative and expository writing in middle school, to argumentative writing in high school. We need to develop that skill through hardships, trial and error, and even our accomplishments from the moment we stepped into a middle school to graduating from college.…
