“Hey Rosey, wake up. It’s time to go.” The two of them had crashed on the worn in couch in Beau’s basement the night before. Rosemary’s eyes opened and started blinking. “Are you ready to go honey?” She rolled over on his chest and buried her face in his shirt. “Please don’t go.” Rosemary’s voice was muffled and shaky. Beau put his hand on her head. “Baby I can’t understand you. What did you say?” She lifted her head, tears streaming down both of her cheeks and repeats. “Please don’t leave me. I don’t want you to go.” At this point Beau couldn’t hold back his tears either. The two of the spend the next ten minutes just lying on the couch crying in each other's arms until Beau’s mother yelled down the stairs. “Come on you two, we’re gonna miss the flight.” Beau sucks in the snot that was leaking from his nose. …show more content…
“Let’s go Beau, you don’t want to miss your flight.” Rosemary’s voice was still shaky but she seemed to get it together somewhat. “Right.” She sits up allowing Beau to get off the couch and gather the few things in the basement he had used the night prior. He stands up and starts walking around the basement gathering his things while Rosemary just sat on the couch staring blankly into space. “Alright that’s all of it I guess, are you ready to go honey.” Beau extends his hand toward her.
