“I’m apologize for slapping you.” Sabra said. “I realized it was completely uncalled for. I get like that whenever people I care about get hurt. Believe it or not, I care about you too a little, but you have to be smarter about things.”

“You weren’t wrong for doing that.” Malessica replied. “No need to apologize. I do need to be smarter, I did something stupid and I almost lost my friend. That’s why I’m going to make sure I fix everything by myself this time.”

“How do you plan on fixing this?” Sabra asked. Do you really think you can take them on?”

“Dealing with the Sangrine Syndicate will fix everything.” Malessica said. “Heliconia town should have what I need. Once I find them, I’ll fight them separately, take them down one by one.”

“How can you be sure that you’ll be able to take them down one at a time?”

“Jeremy told me everything I needed to know.” Malessica said. “Remember the briefcase I told you about, well I remembered the four main members manifestations. Like you said, I have to be smarter and I’ll use their weaknesses to my favor.”

“You’re insane.” Sabra said. “They told you not to mess with them, yet you still choose to mess with them. I won’t lie, I like your spunk. I guess I got no choice, I’ll come with you. Your father or the chauffeur wouldn’t let you go anywhere unsupervised.”

“You’d really come with me?” Malessica asked.

“I already said I will.” Sabra mumbled. “Plus I used to live in Heliconia, it’ll be a trip down memory lane to visit.”

Malessica reached in, hugged her tightly. Sabra sighed, wrapping her arms around Malessica. Looking down on Malessica, she knew some preparation was needed before setting out to Heliconia town. Letting go of Malessica, Sabra turned her attention back to room fifteen.

“So when are we going?” Malessica asked.

“We’ll leave in a couple of days, five to say the least.”

“Five days!” Malessica said, raising her voice. “That’s too long, I want to go

It gets stupidly hot in Danielsville, Louisiana, especially around summer. This would be fine I guess if we had something to do, to keep our mind off of the heat but there isn’t anything to do. Danielsville, Louisiana has three churches (Pentecostal), twice as many bars, one high school and no books stores or libraries. This means you’re either too drunk to read, or too Christian to read anything good. Big enough to have a mayor’s house, but not big enough to be on any map of any kind, it’s the kind of town where everyone knows your name and basically everything about you.…

Police lights, sirens and news vans lined the street, just another day on the job I thought. Pulling into the scene I flash my badge at some of the local cops on the scene as I am escorted to the body. As I got closer I instantly recognised the body, it was Russel Owston head of the biggest bikie gang in Melbourne. Looking at the deep bullet holes from a pistol in his stomach I think to myself that this is most likely a gang shooting.…
