Creative Writing: Dodgeball Match

“ Come on, let's move! “ she importuned, urging me to move.
“ But I don’t want to! “ I whined with laziness.
“Just come, it’ll only take a little while.“ she pleaded while getting out of the blue foam pit. “ OK, lets go. “ I replied, then we left the pit and started walking to the trampolines. When we arrived, I spotted Alexis and Mia, they were jogging with extreme focus from one side to the other. “ What are you doing ? “ I asked Mia. “ We’re trying to find out who can run to the side the fastest,” Mia said, “but since Alexis won we’re heading to the foam pit now. “ “ OK, “ I stated, “see you in the dodgeball match.”

After we began to jump around, a brilliant idea arrived.
“ Do you want to race like Alexis and Mia? “ I asked Gracie.

Within this wintry prison there was no joy, there was no warmth, and, above all, there was no diversity.…
