Creative Writing: Bored Panda

Hi, I'm Chris and I've been a long time reader of Bored Panda and I thought I'd share some of my illustrations. Just like most creatives, I've been drawing since I was young, they weren't great but I was proud of them...okay that is not 100% the truth, I am embarassed by some of the drawings that I drew and gave to my friends back in high school (here's hoping that they threw them away ha!) but luckily I've improved, hopefully. I'm also mostly self taught, I did have a 1 semester stint at my local college's beginning Art class where I learned quite a lot and tried to honed my skills from then on but to no avail unfortunately. Not so much that I started to forget what I've learned rather I didn't have enough clear vision of what I want my art

I have found this crumpled piece of paper in one of the inner compartments of my jacket that I wore when the ship sunk thirteen years ago. We were only on the island for a month before two men were flying over in their helicopter and found us. They didn’t know where to find us before that since we were on uncharted land. The island is now a residential area named Seymore, after one of the men from the helicopter. Malai and I are married now (I’ve taken her last name) and have been for a while.…

"Never go into Chutzpah Forest alone," Aunt Margaret always warned, as long as I could remember. "An ancient dragon dwells there and he would love nothing more than to capture you and devour you for supper." As a child, I used to squeal in terror and nod earnestly, reaffirming my promise to her that I would never venture into that dark and quiet forest, alone or otherwise. As I grew into a young woman, however, the warning seemed very childish. Dragons indeed!…

Both George and Lennie were, in the back of the restaurant, working. George was cleaning dishes, while Lennie was trying his best to mop.…
