“Feathers Alive…Where’s the exit?” chirped Tru nervously; anxious to get Blacky and Curly out of the laboratory before Blackball recovered. “Wuff Wuff! The black button Blackball sits on; let’s check it out!” barked Curly. “Baahh…I can’t wait to take one last peek inside his laboratory!!” baaed Blacky excitedly. “Could you Tru and Curly, just check Blackball’s black button without me?” Blacky tiptoed nervously around the laboratory expecting Blackball to pounce from every corner, but immediately felt drawn to some labelled boxes neatly stacked against a wall. Blacky started to read the labels but stopped when one label, marked ‘Magic Bubbles’ caught her playful eye. “Blackball plays with bubbles!!” she baaed silently to her astounded …show more content…
Delighted to see that the ‘upside down’ packet also had a ‘Magic Bubbles’ label on top, Blacky stuffed the bottle of ‘magic bubbles’ in her hooves. “Curly and Tru will believe me now!” baaed Blacky, looking at her ‘surprise bubbles’ hidden in her hooves, “and Blackball will never know!!” Blacky shuffled quietly out of the laboratory and back to Curly and Tru just in time, as Blackball was slowly coming back to life. “Feathers Alive Blacky! “what kept you so long?” asked Tru, worried that Blackball woke up and found Blacky sneaking around his laboratory. “Baahh…I was rummaging through Blackball’s gadgets, and guess what?” baaed Blacky eagerly, “I found magic bubbles!!” she baaed like mad to Curly’s and Tru’s frozen faces. “Wuff Wuff!…We can play ‘jokes’ and maybe even ‘magic bubbles’ later!” barked Curly impatiently to Blacky, “but we found Blackball’s exit’ black button when you were playing magic-bubbles, and we’re anxious to take off before he fully recovers!” “Feathers Alive!...Ready, Steady, Go,” sang Tru nervously and hesitated.
