I waited for the bird to return whilst I devised a plan. I finished planning my attack when suddenly the bird came swooping in and landed atop a fence. Great, I'll be able to see if my plan works. I stayed absolutely silent as I crept towards the bird. I went to strike but a noise frightened the bird and it flew off again. Damn, I was so close. I'll have to try again later.
After spending ages waiting, the bird finally came back and landed on the roof. Oh no. The roof is the hardest place to get to and now the bird is up there, I'll never be able get it. I approached the roof and stopped. This was it, either I make the jump and catch the bird or I fail and give up. I'm more likely to fail, but I can't back down now.
