Creative Writing: Ava's First Dance

It was 9:00am and time for Ava and the girls to start their first dance performance. Ava and her friends were so excited to perform in front of Brisbane. When the music started playing they all had butterflies in their stomachs. Once the music started to fade out all the girls knew the cue to hold the end pose for three seconds and then happily run off stage. Soon after all the performers finished their dance they picked up their belongings and walked to their parents. Not long after Ava got out of the crowd she walked with her parents to the Woolworths pavilion to get morning tea. After Ava and her family finished eating they happily escorted over to the ‘Round Up’. By the time Ava finished looking around at the rides it was time to go back to the performance stage. …show more content…
In the next five minutes Ava and the girls were skipping on stage until they realised they were missing one of their dancers. “Oh no”, Ava mumbled in her head. “What are we going to do”, all the girls stuttered. “Just go with the flow and it shall be right”, the instructors recalled. The music was about to play and in the glimpse of Ava’s eye she saw Olivia running like the wind. Olivia quickly joined in like nobody noticed. Ava and the girls started to dance and everything was going well until the music stopped. Everyone on stage paused for a second and the crowds faces looked as confused as cross eyed
