Creative Writing: Asthma's Diary Entry

Improved Essays
Dear diary,
What’s his name? You have to help me remember his name! He has such an unusual name. Ron? Pal? Oh, I remember it now! It’s Ralph! I’m sorry, you must be dreadfully confused now. I found somebody else on the island at last! While I was trying to fight them bushes with them rough thorns, I saw a figure of a boy. I shouted out cause I wanted him to notice me. I thought maybe he knew something about the survival of somebody else, especially some grownups. I need a grownup, cause I have asthma, a serious condition, as my auntie told me. He didn't hear nothing, so I shouted louder and he finally turned around. I didn't see his face cause them trees was blocking my view but once I got through the forest, I finally saw him. Something about him made me want him to like me. We was alone but I was not afraid anymore. There was something about him

Following him, I tried to find out what he knew about the others but suddenly, he started running. I tried to follow him, but on account of my asthma, I couldn’t keep up with him. He fell. But his fall wasn't as clumsy as mine would have been if I had fallen. His fall seemed intentional and even heroic. This fall is the reason I had to tell him about my asthma and glasses, so he could know I was special too and not just some fat kid. I think it worked! But at that point I also realized I had forgotten his name. I blamed them fruit and moved away. I crouched down among the leafage and started writing to you.
You understand why I had to write to you immediately, don’t you? So, you could help me remember the name. And you did! Now you must help me the next time I forget it. You will help me, won’t you?
I’m afraid this writing is taking too long. I have to get back. Thank you for listening to me. I will write to you as soon as I get the chance. I hope my asthma and glasses impressed Ralph and he asks me about my name. Keep your fingers

I decided to write about when I tried persuading my boyfriend to get a cat. We had lived together for over a year and I felt there was something missing. At first I was always bringing it up and explaining to him that cats are easy to take care of, they love you unconditionally, and they are very entertaining.…

He wedged me into a corner. I was very scared; I had no idea what he was going to try to do to me. This letter may come as a surprise to you since it is being sent out so early, but Easter is drawing near and the class thought that it would be good to write our buddies before the Holiday. Although since we are also sending out an Easter card to accompany these letters, they may be a little shorter than usual. Anyways, I hope this letter finds you good health, even though we were recently made aware that you were feeling a little under the weather. As you may have remembered, the last time I wrote you I mentioned an event by the name of careers and manners. I would love to tell you about that, but unfortunately I was feeling a little under the weather myself and had to leave school before the event began.…

W.B. Yeats once said, “The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” Walking up the stairs, through the window I could see an orb of light in the forest start to shine, and a wood nymph revealed itself. “The forest has sent me to you today, let’s heal the rabbit and I’ll be on my way”. Immediately I ran down the stairs of my house ready for an adventure. Grabbing the injured rabbit I bolted toward the light that had started to flicker.…
