She felt alone in the quiet home, the only sound was her sniffling and crying. She was having the worst thoughts, her little blurry bubble of the world had been popped. She was devastated. This all started after a pretty normal day for sophia. She just finished her homework so she started to watch all the youtube videos she missed while she was in school. It got later she was supposed to be sleeping but she was a horrible sleeper so she just kept watching her videos. She finally decided to watch a video about what’s happening in the world. The video started of with stupid news like “ Taylor Swift wore leggings and a white T-shirt blah blah blah….”, then the actually news started. She watched and was very interested but then a story about a twelve year old girl is killing animals in africa. That girl’s parents had …show more content…
Sophia was discussted by this, she never knew that was even legal she continued watching. Then a story about isis kidnapping a canadian couple and telling them they would kill their family if the don’t get a ransome? She begin to think how terrifying and sad the family felt. Then she thought of all the horrible storys she heard about the world that she didn’t take seriously she began to cry realizing how horrible and war filled humanity is. Her mind was filled with heart wrenching thoughts of families hiding from war. She had never thought of the world this way she always thought of it as a good place where some people get it harder than others. But now she didn’t see any worth in humanity since all it seems to do is destroy. Her mom had come up stairs and asked why she was crying.
