All Summer in a Day
Will was annoyed by this girl Margot. She was always bragging about Earth. She got to see the sun every day. Last time Will saw it, he was only 2. He always made fun of her when she was bragging. “We get it,” Will said, “you’re from Earth, let's move on now.” All she did was brag about how she was from Ohio. She was always snotty about it. She was so annoying. She was that little sister that asked for everything. When she painted the picture Will just wanted to slap it out of her hands because she was a know it all. Infact, nobody in the school liked her. She was the bully that no one liked. Margot was only liked by her parent and the teacher.
“I’m moving back to Earth soon,” Margot said.
“Finally!” Will said in relief.
She was starting to get sad. She kind of liked the planet Venus. She was moving back to Ohio. That mad Will even more mad because that's taking more money from them.

“Margot,” cried out one of the girls.
They ran back back as fast as they could. They opened the door, and she was folded up into a ball crying. Will felt a little bad.
“I’m sorry,” said Will.
“Save it,” Margot said, “you already did enough.”
It turns out Margot wasn’t moving. She had to live without the sun for 7 more years. For how annoying she was, she didn’t have to live without the sun for 7 more years. It wasn’t fair for Margot. Will was just so annoyed by Margot he didn’t think before he did.
Will was forced by the teacher to say sorry to Margot. He really didn’t mean it, but the teacher forced him to. Then, Will realized that he was the bully just as much as she was.
From then on Margot and Will were best friends. Will didn’t really bully Margot again. He still thought she was a little annoying but not as bad.
The others still didn’t like her. She was so annoying and rude to them. They had no reason to like her. They called her a alligator because of her loud

It rains every day there and no one has seen the sun in a long time, except for a small girl named Margot who is bullied for remembering the sun when the other children don’t. Margot was “a very frail girl who looked as if she had been lost in the rain for years and the rain had washed out the blue from her eyes and the red from her mouth and the yellow from her hair. She was an old photograph dusted from an album, whitened away, and if she spoke at all her voice would be a ghost.” This confirms what Margot looks like. The story hints that something happened to Margot that caused her to be this way.…
