Larry rushes past a group of people standing idly in the hallway. He had a little under five minutes to make it to the judge's chambers and didn't want to be late again.
"Slow down, buddy." Someone yells.
"Yeah, yeah.” He replies, rushing past them. He would've had plenty of time if Julia hadn't looked so sexy laying naked under the satin sheets.
"Good morning love." She said. Pressing her body against his.
"Good morning angel." He says, moving in closer.
"My, my I think little my little mister has a problem." She says, reaching underneath the sheets she started gently stroking him.
"Keep that up and we'll both have a problem." He says, fondling her breast.
"Is that a threat, councilor?"
"No, that's a promise." He says, rolling on top of her.

The witnesses drinking habits is not on trial here."
"I plan to show the court that he was inebriated at the time of the shooting."
"Get on with it then."
"Are you sure it was only a couple of beers?"
"Yeah, I'm positive."
"Isn't it also true you was arrested a short time later for public intoxication?"
"Well, I ah." He answers looking towards the DA.
"Isn't it true, sir?" The witness glances up at the judge.
"You need to answer the councilor's question."
"Yes, but I'd had three more beers after I witnessed the shooting."
"Three beers in ten minutes, you must have guzzled those puppies." Laughter spreads across the courtroom. The judge bangs his gavel on the desk. The courtroom went still.
"So if you had two beers before and three after that's five beers, correct?"
"If you say so."
"Simple math three plus two is five." He says holding up his fingers. The courtroom laughs again.
"Your honor." The DA protests.
"Order." The judge says, smacking his gavel against the desk.
"I have a point, your honor."
"Let's get to it."
"Yes, sir."
"So if you drank five beers, why did the police find twelve empties on the floorboard of your car?"

She'd already cleaned the place top to bottom and was looking for something else to do. She decided to try and watch soap operas but that didn't hold her attention for long.
"Who needs to watch this drama when I have so much in my life as it is?" She concludes. Throwing the remote down on the couch, she gets up hoping to find a book to read. As she's walking by the window she notices a black sedan parked across the street. The same car that had followed her the day she was arrested. Running through the house she starts securing the doors and windows. Grabbing her cell phone off the coffee table on the way through.
"Now that I'm safe I can find out who's following me." Grabbing the binoculars off the shelf, she runs to the window and peeks out. She was trying to zoom in on the vehicle when she hears a loud banging coming from the front door.
"That could be the stalker." She nervously thinks. Dropping to the floor, she takes cover behind the leather sofa. The intruder bangs again. She started looking for her cell phone then realizes she left it on the kitchen table. The stalker pounds again. She looks towards the door then back at the table. If I stay low he won't be able to see me. She concludes, trying to calculate the distance between her and the phone. She started to crawl towards it when a disturbing thought hit
