Prison- creative writing
He's gone. The loud sound of silence is all I hear his last words replay over and over in my head, haunting me. I feel lonelier than before everything becomes harder my best mate my only family taken from me. No one notices, life inside the walls carry on like nothing happened just a normal incident that happens once a week in this hell hole that is prison.
We are having lunch in the cafeteria with all the other prisoners all the bad men.Me and my cell mate josh my brother got our slop a bole of awful foods combined to make something even worse. Just like every other friday we sate at our usual table and forced the food down. we were beginning to finish our bowls but then i hear soft footprints behind me i turn to look whos there i see a sparkle in the man's hand behind me at the same time i realise it's a knife before i could do anything the man with great anger in his eyes forces the knife with speed and power into the neck of josh. A breeding ground for rats,bugs and insects at night they crawl on my body trying to keep warm as i lay in the rusty bed with my feet hanging out the end all my thoughts dwell on my brother i picture him on the bed beneath me there sleeping, I listen out for him snoring but nothing the only thing i heard is the occasional scream or moan of the other prison. I tried to sleep but i couldn't to many things were rushing through my head.
The lights flash on i hear the sound of keys rattling. I look up an army of guards are opening my cell one yale's face the wall and put your hands behind your back they storm in force me to the ground screaming things at me still i try to ask “what is going on “ but I don't get a reply i start screaming it. Finale a gard replies you are sentenced to death for the killing of josh
