Prologue
Unknown POV
It happened so suddenly you know. My life wasn’t the best out there but it was something. I had friends even if it was just two people. I had a roof over my head, even when the people that I lived with hated me. I had food and a job as well, though the pay isn’t the best. I was thankful for the life that I had. I wasn’t bullied too much in school. In fact most people pretended that I wasn’t even in the same room as them. I was happy because my life could have been worse. I could have none of these things. So, why? Why? did this have to happen all I wanted in life is to be happy? I guess it wasn’t meant to be that way.

Narrator POV

She had to learn to control her power with the help of her husband, Yler, in order to not hurt anyone. There was only one thing that she could never control, her visions. Her visions were the reason that they were able to find the land of Saya. It was also her visions that showed her that the youngest child of her blood line would be as powerful or more so than her, that it was only when they become sixteen years of age that their power will awaken and they will see the world for what it truly is. She thought nothing of it because she knew that her children would most likely get some of her powers. Why should she worry then if her bloodline would have one child every generation with at least one stronger than the rest. So, years after having that vision it was almost forgotten until almost thirty years had gone by. The kingdom has grown exponentially since they have founded and the King and Queen of Saya was blessed by the gods with five children. The oldest of the children and the crown prince was named Craven, he was eighteen years of age, the second oldest and the only princess named Samantha, she was sixteen years of age, then there

Life is not a void filled with despair and difficulties as Hamlet has depicted in his soliloquy. Looking at Roger Ebert and Steve Jobs, we can see that it is possible to be content with your life even though it may seem like an unrealistic dream to some. Just because you can’t see it now doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. And it most certainly does not mean you won’t be able to find happiness later down the road. Life is valuable; it just depends on how you choose to look at it.…

It lets me know it is late in the morning if not already afternoon, but the time means little to me. I am still unable to vocalize this feeling I awake with so often. Senior Year My greatest memory so far in my eighteen years of being on this earth is without a doubt my senior year of high school. It was absolutely unforgettable. My senior year as a whole (which was just last year) was the most fun I’ve ever had in my life and the happiest I have ever been. When I was a chubby little freshman with glasses I thought to myself that high school would be one of the longest time periods of my life and that four years would feel like forty years. But man was I wrong, high school went by in the blink of an eye.…
